C'mon now folks...thats one of those set up "Old Tyme Photos".
Yep!With today's imaging technology its is getting more difficult to be sure what is genuine anymore. As a matter of fact, it has become commonplace today for totally fabricated photos to be circulated and most people get duped into believing they are real. I think that even courts are now more wary of accepting photographic "evidence" because technological advances make it too easy to create false evidence. I have become more cynical about almost everything I see on the internet. Whenever I receive e-mails that makes statements that are not common knowledge, I almost automatically look to verify the information from more credible sources.
True, I do the same myself (the last one was the light aircraft landing with only one wing), the old adage that the camera never lies is a nonsense, but I think this picture is genuine, being part of a collection from one of the many stock photo companies about, I think they'd know if it was a modern creation. there's no reason to think its a fake. Unless you think the subject matter is unlikely for that time period, the picture has a mex-tex look to it and may well of been taken in New Mexico where at the time interracial relations/marriages were not officially prohibited.
