
Nick Conrad (born 29 November 1984 in Norwich, UK) is a British radio and television presenter. He presents a once weekly current affairs programme with London based talk radio station LBC 97.3 He is the youngest presenter on the station and the majority of his programmes reflect views on political issues from a younger perspective.
He is a former presenter on BBC national digital radio channel BBC 6 Music where he presented a Saturday night comedy programme between 2006 and 2007. In addition he often appears on Local BBC Radio stations in East Anglia, in particular BBC Radio Norfolk.
In 2005 he established Smoking Pigeon Media in Manchester UK which made online media content for a number of travel, electronics and educational companies and establishments.
In Television he has worked on network formats for Five(Channel 5), Channel 4 and most prominently ITV1 & ITV2 including fronting the television programme Tried & Tested. In his career so far he has won 2 Nation & Region Radio Academy Awards. He was until 2006 represented by London talent agent John Noel.
Nick has openly discussed his family life on air in a number of programmes and radio interviews. Nick Conrad's mother is from the West Indian island of Grenada, he often makes reference to his ethnicity on air branding himself the UK's 'Whitest Black Man'. His mother died when he was aged just 3. In reflection of his personal situation he often passionately expresses interest in matters of faith, family, heritage and multiculturalism in the UK. He regularly talks about the physiological effect of bereavement on his LBC 97.3 broadcasts.
