A black woman's experiences with her biracial child. Has anyone ever been through something like this?

I thought it was heartful and insightful. One of my best gf's is biracial (black mom/white dad). She constantly cracks me and my friends up by recalling her stories of biraciality in this world. These stories need to be told.

I can commiserate. I've had to occasionally had to navigate these waters myself and I agree with the author- it's never easy. Despite this, I wouldn't trade my partner for the "certaintly" of being uni-racial. He's too important to me and his kids.
