Mica Paris is an English soul singer. She was born Michelle Wallen on 27 April 1969 in London, but abbreviated her forename to Micha before adopting its phonetic version as she moved further away from her gospel roots. At fifteen she moved up to being a session singer for bands, amongst them Shakatak and Hollywood Beyond. Her most successful single was her first, My One Temptation which reached number 7 in 1988. She is currently co-host in the consumer style programme, What Not To Wear for BBC television.
Mica gave birth to a baby girl called Russia Mae who was born in June 2006 and, also has a daughter called Monet who was born in 1991.
